| EADS Charity Golf Challenge Raised Funds to Aid Single Mothers to Learn New Skills To help single needy mothers regain confidence and find work again, EADS organised a first ever charity golf challenge in Singapore . The challenge was held at the Laguna National Golf and Country Club and the Guest-of-Honour was Zainul Abidin Rasheed, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Mayor for Northeast CDC. Proceeds from the challenge would go to ChaCha Cottage, a charity organisation which helps single needy mothers to gain new skills, enabling them to work from home. Ms Angella Cheng, Director of ChaCha Cottage said, “ The funds will help us extend our product line to include liquid soap, bath gels and shampoos so that we can train our current members to pick up more new skills as well as train as many new members as possible.” “Currently, we have 26 single mothers under our tutelage. With the injection of new funds, we hope to help more single mothers learn to support themselves and their families. Even a small contribution can make a big difference to the lives of our women. ” |  |
